I know it's intended to be dumb, but it's still so dumb, even for a comedy. Dumb and Dumber did a much better job at writing the comedy out of dumbness instead of making the whole film to be failing at sarcasm yet mostly being really dumb. The only funny part is the 2001 mockery & the lately trending Zoolander film set memes
相较于隔壁的伊丽莎白、玛格丽特等其他古典剧女主，苔丝整个人就显得过于可怜且不够可爱了。她当然是无辜的。沉醉于祖上荣光妄想不劳而获的父亲，怂恿女儿攀附高枝却不提醒她自我保护的母亲，贫穷抽掉了他们的骨头，以致女儿也无法昂首挺胸行走。原生家庭才是一切的祸根。可惜苔丝本人并没展现出什么令人心折的魅力，除了作为长姐的担当和见仁见智的美貌。至于阿历克与安吉尔，一个没有恶到极致，一个善得不够彻底，都是庸庸之辈，没什么好说。苦哈哈一部剧下来，除去让人想搜索旅游攻略的取景地，印象最深的倒是那点甜——安吉尔抱着她走过林中积水：Three Leahs to get one Rachel. I endure on three-quarters of the labour only for this moment.
